Somewhere between the first birthday and the third, toddlers develop a very particular skill: asking to be picked up at exactly the moment your hands are full. You are in the middle of the kitchen with a pot in one hand. You are unloading the trunk. You are standing in a line. And a small person is holding onto your leg and lifting both arms.

So you pick them up, and they are heavier than you remember. Within a few minutes your forearm burns, your back starts to lean and you shift the weight from one hip to the other. You want to say yes to the closeness, but you also want to be able to use both hands. It is a real tension, and it comes back every single day.

The Hip Seat Carrier is built around that problem. It is a foldable carrier with a waist stool that supports your toddler at your hip and shoulder straps that share the load, in breathable polyester-cotton or pure cotton. You can carry in horizontal or vertical positions, and it holds up to 20 kg.

With the stool on your waist, your toddler sits securely and you can carry them without depending on your arm. Errands get easier, waiting in line is more bearable and your child gets to be close for as long as they want. When you are done, the stool folds away. It does not make a 12 kg toddler feel light, but it changes how much of that weight has to sit in your arms.
