What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels and tags. Together we call them “cookies”.
How we use them
- Essential: needed for the Site to work, for example your cart, secure checkout, fraud prevention and load balancing. These cannot be switched off.
- Preferences and features (local storage): remember your wishlist and likes, and the status and timing of promotional offers on your device (for example whether a discount offer is running or was declined).
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, traffic sources, performance) so we can improve it.
- Advertising and marketing: used by us and our advertising partners to measure campaigns and show you relevant ads on other websites and social platforms, based on the products you viewed or added to your cart.
Who sets them
Cookies are set by APYKIDZ, by Shopify (our platform and checkout provider), and by third parties such as analytics and advertising platforms we use. Third-party cookies are governed by those companies’ own policies.
Your choices
- Where we show a cookie banner, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies, and change your choice at any time.
- You can opt out of sharing for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where required.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop your cart or checkout from working.
- You can clear local storage from your browser settings to reset your wishlist and offer status.
