This baby nasal aspirator (model MX520) is a cordless, rechargeable device with pressure-controlled suction and two soft silicone heads. It has a 500 mAh lithium battery, measures 5.5 x 4.2 x 14.5 cm and weighs 218 g. It comes in green, blue and pink.
A blocked nose starts in the evening, and by midnight your baby breathes through the mouth, wakes hourly and cannot feed well. Tissues do little, and bulb syringes can be awkward.
What people like about an electric aspirator is that it is quick and controlled. The pressure-controlled suction lets you choose a gentler setting, the soft silicone heads are comfortable for a baby and it is cordless, so you can use it in any room. Rechargeable means it is ready when you need it.
When comparing electric baby nose cleaners, check suction control, cleaning and battery. Two heads let you choose the one that fits your baby, and parts that come off make cleaning easier.
If your baby often has a blocked nose, a gentle aspirator is a useful item to keep at home. If you worry about your baby's breathing, always contact your pediatrician.
